Local Shows

In addition to their big, knock-out stage shows, Aaron and Don love to do smaller, local affairs. If you live in Western Oregon (Aaron's turf) or anywhere in Indiana (Don's turf), then they'd love to bring a smaller-scale, one-man show to you. Are you a school? Library? Boys and Girls Club? Do you just want the coolest birthday party ever? We're here to help.

All shows and lessons are typically 45 minutes to one hour long but can be made shorter or longer on request. We're nothing if not flexible. We require two weeks' advance notice for local shows.

Birthday Parties

Celebrate your birthday with a blast! Explosions, Inc. takes the hassle out of birthday planning. The birthday kid gets to be our special Explosions, Inc. lab assistant and we'll even toss in an awesome gift for good measure! Explosions, Inc. birthdays: we'll bring the science. You bring the cake.

Schools

Do you want an excellent, memorable assembly program? Look no further than Explosions, Inc. We have years of experience wowing schools across the Inland Northwest from Kindergarten on up. Our shows are STEM-based with a strong focus on content so they're more than just a fun diversion. They're an awesome diversion that will leave the kids a little bit smarter and a lot more curious about science and the world around them. 

We also offer in-class lessons to help meet your STEM education needs. We'll bring our extraordinary showmanship down about half a notch (which is about one full metric notch) and fill your classroom with the sounds of science and awed students. Classroom lessons can be targeted specifically to the topic and grade level we're presenting to and can cover a variety of topics in chemistry and physics. Let us know what you're going for. If we don't already have something cooked up, we'll work with you to meet your needs!

Libraries

Aaron and Don packed libraries season after season all across eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. Explosions, Inc. shows are the perfect complement to a seasonal reading program or an after-school program, and they're awesome just as a one-off experience for your visitors. We'll make science real (and really cool) for your families. 

Pricing

All local shows begin as low as $150. Prices increase on a sliding scale based on the exact show desired, audience size, and driving distance. We offer discounts for multiple shows in the same location on the same day, and district-wide discounts for libraries booking multiple shows at once. For audiences 25 and under, ask about our extras!
